I can not honestly say that I am surprised; we all saw it coming.  Her life was a controversy and the drugs a part of it but 27 is not an age to die.  Ironically her most successful song was the one thing that could have saved her life.

Her life was a mess but her music was brilliant. She was a great artist and will always be remembered for that. Rest in peace Amy.

    Gestern geisterte die Nachricht durch Twitter, aber keines der dt. Medien hatte sie bestätigt, also dachte ich zunächst, das wäre wieder so eine Falschmeldung wie der Tod Obamas. Aber nein...

    I am not really surprised either but I think it is so sad. it must be hard to struggle with addiction so publicly.
