Oh hello there! How have you been?
How come it is already February, where has time gone so quickly? Well, first of all, I can announce that my 5th semester is officially over and that this past week has been my chill out week full of food and relaxation. Unfortunately the weather has turned slightly antarctic so I didn’t do as many things as I was planning to, but still, here is what happened:
On Saturday, after my last hand in on Friday, I decided to do nothing. Precisely. One day of staying in bed, watching movies and not caring for anything. It was great, I’m telling you.
Sunday started too early for a Sunday but hey; that’s what you have to do if you want to have breakfast at The Breakfast Club in Spitalfields. Every weekend you will see people queuing to get a table and so did we for half an hour. We had a bit of trouble to fir our twin buggy in the tiny restaurant but the waitresses were very friendly and helpful and we managed to get a place in the end. The breakfast menu is endless and it is quite hard to chose from all the delicious things on offer but in the end I went for the traditional english breakfast; didn’t have on in ages! But I can tell you that all the stuff is delicious, whatever the others tried was devine! And you have to get the orange juice – get a whole pitcher, you won’t regret it. Fresh-pressed goodness! I also tried the Orange-Carrot-Ginger Smoothie… beautiful! All in all; it’s worth queuing for!
P.s.: Don’t Aimee and Maya look adorable? They have grown so much!
P.p.s.: There is a secret bar inside… and guess where the entrance is… in the fridge!!!
