I am sure I am not the only one who is sometimes overwhelmed by the complexity of social networks and tweaks and coups you need to know to sync everything at the same time. So I had been wondering if there was a way that I could make blogging but especially sharing things easier.
My biggest struggle: “Is there a way that I can post stuff automatically to my Facebook fan page but not to my private Facebook wall?”
I was sure that there would be a way to share what you post instantly to your Facebook fan page, twitter account etc. And after a bit of browsing I found the solution! >>>IFTTT<<<! Ok, now you’re like: “Wtf?” but IFTTT simply means: If this then that. And this is how it works: You create a “recipe” – a formula that configures what happens if a certain thing is done. For example I created a recipe that automatically posts a link to my newest blog post to my Facebook fan page and twitter. Every time I take a picture on Instagram it will be posted on my Facebook album. Now I don’t have to worry about updating every single post on every website – it happens simultaneously!
I think it’s fantastic. Absolutely what I have been looking for and completely for free too!
I am not going to explain it in detail as you can read a step by step guide >>>here<<<. But I can only recommend it to everyone who wants to instantly update all social media sites without any extra effort.
Btw: I am not getting paid for this. I just want to let everyone know in case some of you have been struggling with this too!
