discovering new tastes

IMG_7859Frozen Joghurt while-u-wait. IMG_7861Awww… IMG_7863 IMG_7864Best drink ever! IMG_7877Mongoose’ hair has the same colour as mine! :D IMG_7881IMG_7893IMG_7897-horzSomething that you (apparently) have to drink in between the courses. Nasty stuff.IMG_7912IMG_7899-horzLook Mongoose! There’s a beer named after you!  IMG_7919Squid! :D   IMG_7889 Mongoose is as fat as we feel after all the food…

I finally managed to upload the pictures from last friday! About half way to the Korean Store, somewhere in Tooting, the engine lamp of the car started to flash. We googled it (thank god for smartphones) and figured out that it was the ignition coil and that we can’t drive any firther. Luckily there was a garage very close so we gave them the car and passed the time in a cute little café opposite the road and had some frozen yoghurt.

An hour later we were finally able to drive on, 3 new ignition coils under the bonnet. The korean store we went to is huge and has an amazing selection of every asian ingredient you can think of. I bought tons of funny lucking snacks (tomato flavoured seaweed anyone?) and a lifetime supply of noodles.

Back home it was finally time for dinner! Basically you toss different types of meat and a few vegetables on a grill, dunk them in various sauces and wrap them in lettuce leafs with rice. You can add different types of Kimchi, which is a special type of pickled vegetable, chillis and garlic. I really loved it!

Look how big Mongoose has become! Awww! Still the cutest thing.
