time to get back to normal!

Man I look aweful! Reality hits you in the face sometimes (usually in the form of pictures)! Exam period is almost over (last exam and hand in on friday) and I just can’t wait to get it over with! I’ve been to the gym like twice since I came back from the US and since then I’ve been eating an aweful lot of crap *excuse me* and you can see it! Jeez! I just can’t help it, I can’t study without loads of food! Like my brain refuses to work! :(

Yesterday some friends of ours came over for some late dinner (consisting of a huge bucket and bits and bobs from KFC) and to let us meet Daniel. Isn’t he adorable? He was born about a month too early and spent a long time in hospital but now he is all well and proper. Look at those chuppy cheeks!  I forgot to take pictures of his teeny tiny hands and fingernails, they are just soo cute! Btw. Babies are really hard to photograph; they just won’t stop moving and turning their tiny heads around! ;)

So my Marketing exam today went GREAT, everything I could ask for and now I am over the moon and highly motivated to tackle the next two! How was your weekend?

Translation:

Gestern kamen ein paar Freunde von uns zum verspäteten Abendessen (bestehend aus einem riesen Eimer und allerlei Kram von KFC) und um uns Daniel vorzustellen. Ist er nicht wundervoll? Er ist ein Frühchen und wurde ca. einen Monat zu früh geboren und hat daher eine lange Zeit im Krankenhaus verbracht aber jetzt ist er putzmunter und ein properes Kerlchen. Diese runden Bäckchen! Ich hab nicht dran gedacht Bilder von den winzigen Händchen und Fingernägeln zu machen, die sind immer das süßeste! Babies sind übrigens gar nicht leicht zu fotographieren, halten nie still und drehen ihr Köpfchen in alle Richtungen! ;)

So. Mein Marketing Exam heute ist SUPER gut gelaufem, ich kann mich nicht beschweren und jetzt gehts mir einfach richtig gut und kann mit neuer Motivation meine nächsten Zwei angehen! Wie war euer Wochenende?

That’s the headline staring at me from my lecture slides spread around at my desk right now. I am studying for my International Marketing exam on Monday and as boring as it sounds, I really like it. I already got an A in my coursework so there is double motivation in scoring a high grade in the exam.

Of course I do take breakes off studying during the day which can be as various as browsing online shops, calling my family back home or cleaning my room. On one of these breaks I took the following pictures for you, simply for your entertainment and to illustrate this post. Evidentially not of my face since I don’t want to scare anyone with my non make up appearance. ;)

So I guess you all Bloggers’ problems in the last couple of days and I already hoped I was spared of it when I realized that about 20 comments on the previous post have dissapeared. Der Titel dieses Posts ist die Überschrift eines Kapitels meiner Vorlesungsunterlagen die gerade über meinen Schreibtisch verteilt vor mir liegen. Ich lerne nämlich für mein International Marketing Exam am Montag und so langweilig es auch klingt, ich mag es. Da ich bereits ein A in meinem Coursework habe ist es doppelte Motivation für mich am Montag eine hohe Punktzahl zu erreichen.

Natürlich mach ich über den Tag verteilt auch einige Pausen die so unterschiedlich wie in Online Shops browsen, die Family zuhause anrufen oder mein Zimmer generalsäubern. Bei einer dieser Pausen hab ich die folgenden Bilder gemacht; zu eurer Unterhaltung und farblichen Gestaltung dieses Posts. Natürlich keine Gesichtsaufnahmen, schließlich will ich euch nicht mit meiner Make Up freien Erscheinung gruseln! ;)

Eating during studyies is complementary for me so to calm my cravings for sweets I’ve put a huge bowl of grapes on my desk. Taking a break from studies… got my first exam on Monday. All I can think of is holidays! Funny since strictly speaking I just got back from the last. Can’t wait to go snowboarding in February and most of all: flying to see my best friend in San Francisco in April – 15 days! Yeahaw! Plus, we are going to Las Vegas for one weekend, how cool is that?

That’s that for my holiday dreaming, gotta get back to studies now, hope you had a more exiting weekend!

Ich mach grad studier Pause… am Montag ist mein erstes Exam. Allerdings kann ich nur noch an Ferien denken. Eigentlich verrückt, wo ich die letzten Ferien doch gerade erst hinter mir habe. Ich kann’s einfach kaum erwarten im Februar Snowboarden zu gehen und vor allen Dingen kann ich’s gar nicht abwarten im April endlich zu meiner Besten nach San Francisco zu fliegen – für 15 Tage! Juhuu! Noch dazu fliegen wir dann für ein Wochenende nach Las Vegas, wie gut ist das denn bitte?
