I am back! I have been really busy lately organising my life plus I have been to Download Festival so I didn’t really have time to post. On top of it all I had some internet issues the past few days so blogging was a bit delayed for some time now! But now I am back and there is tons of posts to come!

Some lovely new things found their way into my wardrobe! As I mentioned in one of my last posts I was sent some lovely items from OASAP! You have already seen the wing ring here and here are the other two items! I love those spike bracelets and now I want the gold one too! Get yours here!

The bag was love at first sight! Remember the post when I said I have a strange relationship with bags? I either fall in love instantly and wear them to death or never! This one is one of those lovelies, it has the perfect size, a front pocket (perfect to quickly get your Oyster Card or Phone out!) and reminds me of the Proenza Schouler bags that I just love! Unfortunately this particular style is sold out now but  I have found it in a smooth leather version in three colours here! I already spottet a couple of other beauties, for example this, this or this one!

The earrings are from a small shop on Brick Lane and where quite pricey for a bit of plastic and metal (15 quid) but I just couldn’t leave them… I blame Kerstin, she said I should buy them – and I don’t regret it, I love them to bits! Thx Körsti! <3

Now that I actually can spend some time outside instead of inside dark, artificially lit library halls, I have could actually enjoy the bit of sunshine that we had the last couple of days. Obviously it has turned grey and rainy again (damn you British weather!) but hopefully things will brighten up on Sunday again.

Yesterday I was finally able to pick up my package from OASAP from the post office, I got some lovely little bits – and found this lovely wing ring as a gift inside! Thank you so much, I love it! I’ll show you the rest in the next couple of days!

Jetzt da ich endlich mal Zeit habe ein wenig draußen zu sein anstatt in dunklen, Kunst Licht durchfluteten Bibliothekshallen zu sitzen, konnte ich auch endlich mal ein wenig Sonne genießen. Natürlich ist es jetzt wo ich frei habe wieder grau und regnerisch aber die Prognosen stehen gut dass es am Sonntag wieder besser wird.

Gestern konnte ich dann endlich mein Päckchen von OASAP vom Post Office abholen, ich hab ein paar tolle Sachen bekommen – unteranderem fand ich diesen tollen Flügel Ring als Geschenk in meinem Paket – vielen Dank, ich liebe ihn! Den Rest zeige ich euch dann in den kommenden Tagen!

battersea car boot sale

I just nailed my final chinese exam! It really could’t have gone better, all the revision finally pays off. Now there is only my last report and my last exam on the 29th to worry about and then I am freeeee! :D
I digged out these pictures from a couple of weeks (?) ago, that was when Nicky, Thea and me went to the Battersea car boot sale. I am slowly getting to my goal of having visited all the car boot sales that Time Out wrote about here. Now that the weather is getting warmer (well not right now, it’s been bloody raining every day for the last couple of weeks – it even hailed today!) the car boot sales are back on the agenda.

About 3 min into the market I already found the first bargain – an oversized vintage Levis for 12 quid! I spend about 60 quid in total I think and bought so much cool stuff but somehow Thea didn’t buy anything (how does she do it?). I’ve got to say that the Battersea car boot sale is one of my favourite and also one of the biggest I have been to so far. I disagree with Time Out that its supposed to be not the cheapest of its kind, because I found lots of bargains. It is indeed great if you're a seasoned fan of vintage but there is loads of newer stuff too. It does get really busy though so if you want to ditch the masses you should go early.

Ich hab gerade meine letzte Chinesisch Klausur gerockt! Es hätte echt nicht besser laufen können, all die Lernerei zahlt sich halt doch aus. Jetzt steht zwischen mir und meiner Freiheit nur noch mein letzter Report und die letzte Klausur am 29. und dann hab ich alles hinter mir! :D

Derweil hab ich euch mal diese Bilder von vor ein paar Wochen (?) ausgegraben, das war der Tag an dem Thea, Nicky und ich den Battersea car boot sale unsicher gemacht haben. Car boot sales sind die englische Version unserer Flohmärkte. Ich harke nach und nach alle car boot sales ab die das Time Out Magazine hier gepriesen hat. Jetzt wo das Wetter wieder etwas wärmer wird (ok, nicht jetzt gerade, die letzten paar Wochen hat es ausnahmslos geregnet – heute sogar gehagelt!) kann man schon mal den ein oder anderen Sonntag nach den besten Flohmärkten suchen.

Nach ca. 3 min auf dem Gelände hatte ich dann auch schon mein erstes Fundstück in der Hand – eine oversized vintage Levis Jeansjacke für £12 – gekauft. Das ging dann ungefähr die nächsten 2 Stunden so bis ich sämtliche £60 Bargeld ausgegeben hatte und überglücklich mit vollen Tüten raus schlenderte. Thea hat es irgendwie geschafft gar nix zu kaufen, fragt mich nicht wie sie das macht. Ich muss sagen das der Battersea Flohmarkt auf jeden Fall zu meinen Favoriten gehört, er ist auch einer der größten auf denen ich bis jetzt war. Generell kann ich Time Outs Meinung das es nicht sehr günstig ist nicht wirklich zustimmen da ich echt viele fantastische Schnäppchen gemacht habe. Es ist auf jeden Fall der richtige Ort wenn man nach guten Vintage Stücken sucht aber es gibt auch viel neumodisches. An einem schönen Tag muss man sich allerdings auf Menschenhorden einstellen, wer die also vermeiden will sollte die £3 für ein early-bird ticket springen lassen und früh hingehen.

my preciousssss

I finally bought the Zara bag that I wanted for so long. I LOVE IT! In the end I went for brown because that was what I initially fell for and the black one was really shiny and looked a lot more like plastic than this one. It’s pretty massive but I like my bags big since I always carry around tons of stuff.

I now sit in dark corners caressing it and hissing my precioussss to myself. Hehe.

Just wanted to show you what I wore on the press days, thanks to Van Ahn for the great pictures, I need someone like her to take pictures of me everyday haha!

The nailpolish is by Models Own from the Hedkandi range in the shade “Hedonist”, a super bright pinkish-coral colour that looks quite orange on these pictures but it’s just really hard to capture. I love it though, can’t stop looking at my nails!

Just a very quick post, I’ve got to go in a minute – girls night out! ;) I’m wearing one of my new favourite sheer shirts from Primark, Asos claw bracelet, turqoise earrings from Portobello Road and just some skinny jeans. Hey!

I actually have to put on the heating again… brrr. Despite being quite nice and sunny most of today, it was actually much colder than expected. But I didn’t want to give up my spring feeling just yet so I decided that layering will do. I saw this jacket in New Look the other day when I was returning some stuff and I knew I had to get it. I wanted a green jacket for spring for a while now, my winter parka is way too hot for temperatures over 12 degrees. I love that it isn’t plain green but has lighter coloured details. <3

Let’s hope that the temperatures will get higher everyday now, Kerstin mentioned that it will be 18°C on thursday!

Ich muss doch tatsächlich wieder die Heizung anmachen… brrr. Obwohl es eigentlich fast den ganzen Tag schön sonnig war, wurde ich von den außen herrschenden Temperaturen doch ein wenig enttäuscht. Da ich aber die Frühlingsgefühle noch nicht so ganz wegpacken möchte musste der Lagenlook her. Die Jacke hab ich vor ein paar Tagen bei New Look entdeckt als ich ein paar andere Sachen zurückgegeben habe und war natürlich hin und weg. Ich bin sowieso schon seit einiger Zeit auf der Suche nach einer grünen Übergangsjacke und mein Winterparka ist für Temperaturen über 12°C einfach zu warm. Am schönsten Finde ich dass er nicht einfarbig Grün ist sondern diese helleren Details hat. <3

Lasst uns hoffen dass die Temperaturen jetzt wieder etwas steigen, Kerstin hat mir schon hoffnungen gemacht als sie erwähnt hat das Do 18°C werden sollen!

Hiya!
So there you go; my new haircut! Ok, not that much of a change but I did get it shortened quite a bit. I’ve got some layers now as well; the straight cut is just so boring. Whatcha think? I am actually quite pleased with how it looks, especially with the blond / ombre leftovers at the bottom.

The shirt and the varsity jacket are from the mens section at Primark again. The denim shirt has brown corduroy patches on the elbows and was only ten quid - me gusta! Oh and I just love this jacket, it is super comfy. Went to Uni like this today and was actually too hot, spring is on! The birds outside my house have been going crazy for a couple of weeks already…

So yeah, tell me what you think?

Tadaa! Das ist sie, die neue Frise! Gut, sooo eine große Veränderung ist es jetzt nicht aber es ist schon einiges an Länge abgekommen. Außerdem hab ich sie jetzt auch mal wieder ein bisschen durchstufen lassen; alles auf einer Länge ist langweilig. Was meint ihr? Mir gefällt es echt gut, vor allem dass mit dem Farbübergang nach Unten.

Das Shirt und die College Jacke sind mal wieder aus der Männerabteilung bei Primark. Das Jeansshirt hat auf den Ellenbogen noch braune Kord Aufnäher und hat gerade mal nen Zehner gekostet – me gusta! Oh und die Jacke ist einfach perfekt und super bequem. So bin ich gestern zur Uni gegangen und es war einfach so herrlich warm – Frühling ist da, endlich! Die Vögel vor meinem Fenster rasten eh schon seit ‘ner Weile aus…
