SALE picks from the high street under £75

Sale picks H&M

With the new year comes the sales! From Designer to High Street – everyone is discounting the last season and tempting us with spring colours and chiffon dresses. Be smart and shop the pieces that were a little out of your price range or just haven’t made it into your closet yet – cause you still have a couple of months to wear it until the weather will let you throw on your chiffon dresses!

Here are my favorites from the high street’s big retailers! Which ones are your favorites? Links below the pictures!

H&M: My H&M picks are all quite classic shapes with a little twist. I love H&M for timeless shapes that you can wear in different seasons and different occasions. The palette is pretty much in soft, simple shades of black, blue, grey and beige.

Topshop Sale

Topshop: Topshop is the place to go for more quirky, on-trend designs and patterns. I picked a wild mix of things that caught my eye; I sometimes find their online offering a bit overwhelming… these are some things that I would like to take home. As Topshop is a little on the pricier side in terms of high street they do have some great bargains during the sale and I especially love their wide choice of whimsy heels that are usually more than 50% off… (check out those burgundy leather booties and the embellished coat, both down to €36 from €120!)

New Look sale

NEW LOOK: New Look has a really impressive sale going on right now, I had a really hard time choosing the items as I loved so many things on the website! They have a great selection of dresses, tops and skirts and I loved the bags and rings I saw. They discounted heavily and since New Look is quite affordable already most of these lovely items are a total bargain! Check out the T-Shirt for less then a tenner and the cute backpack for under £15!

And yes, I want all of it.

haul – topshop outlet london

As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, I’ve spend my tuesday afternoon with a pilgrimmage to Edgeware. Edgeware is at the end of the northern line and quite far bloody far away from me. But what you wouldn’t do for a Topshop Outlet store? Ok, the total travel time wasn’t more than an hour and in London I’ve gotten quite acustomed to travelling for ages so it wasn’t all that bad. Was it worth it? Hell yeah.

The shopping centre is just around the corner of Edgeware station but I managed to run around for ages in the wrong directions before I found it. –.-‘ It took me a while before I discovered what I was looking for (the Topshop is located in one of the far corners of the centre) so I had a look around in Internacionnale in the meantime – and found these three beauties in the sale:

The collar and the beaded bag were just £2 and the scarf £5!

When I entered the Outlet store I was greeted by massive “SALE”  and “"buy one get one free!” signs everywhere. I steered to the first rail and my first impression was: oh no. Most of the stuff was ripped / missing buttons / very old season and or increadibly misshaped. But rail by rail the selection got better and after 15 min I already carried around 20 items around and made my way to the fitting rooms. I could have spend hours in that store and had to leave a lot of things because I couldn’t try them on anymore (they close the fitting rooms half an hour prior to closing) but I had so much stuff anyways!

The store has a bit of a thrift store / charity shop feeling because many things are only available once and you have to dig through a lot of not-so-nice stuff but you can definately find many great bargains. The good thing is that everything is sorted by garment type and sizes which makes finding what you are looking for a lot easier.
In my opinion one of the best things is the jewellery rail. I got ten items in the end and everything is £1,50!!! PLUS you get the buy one get free so every second one is FREEEEE! :D

When I went to the till I had no idea how much it would be in total and I was so surprised when I saw the numbers on the display – £50.50!!! The most expensive item I got was the white polka dot blouse – reduced from £40 to £20. But then I got the Ashish “AU SECOURS” shirt for £15 for free!  And the list goes on; so if you go there make sure you have even numbers of clothing items and accessories!

Btw, all items at normal price would have added up to £247!!!

AU SECOURS!; attention or you’re going to spent all your money in that store! They get new stock every week so it’s not like you will see the same stuff all the time and the value for money is beyond amazing!

I can’t believe that it’s already the 8th, time just passes way too quickly… I’ve spend the last few days with family and friends, catching up on everything I’ve missed and enjoying my freetime. Unfortunately with a nagging concience, telling me I have to work on my reports and study for my exam… I’ve tried hard to stay focused but I ultimately drift off to various online shops while doing my research online.

So obviously the sale is on for quite a few days now and I thought all the best pieces would be gone by now but I still managed to find some treasures. My favourite is the dress from Dorothy Perkins, I can’t wait to wear it! Although the festive season is over, I am sure I will find an occasion to wear it. While browsing the site I stumbled upon a couple of other goodies; especially looking forward to the embellished shirt!

The UO sale was a bit disappointing tbh; none of the clothes really triggered my fancy (or were sold out in my size) so I had a look at the home section. I am going to spray the frames and the skull white, I always wanted one of those!

Did you get lucky in the sales?
